In this month’s episode we introduce long time author and editor for Hadean Press, Brian Johnson, discussing several of his published texts, ‘Naming the Heavens’, a translation of the Planetary Orisons of the Summa Sacre Magica, ‘Testament of Solomon Recension C’, one of the precursors of the grimoire tradition, and excerpts from the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, MS Plut. 89 sup.38 titled, ‘Necromancy in the Medici Library’.
In this episode Brian and I discuss how he came to translate these texts, their history and importance to the modern grimoire revival.
