Bami Kuteyi the founder of TWERK AFTER WORK ™ discusses her hair journey as a young fierce black queen.

There is a growing movement towards embracing natural hair textures and promoting self-acceptance, challenging societal beauty standards that have often marginalized black hair.

It is important to note that black hair experiences unique challenges due to historical and ongoing discrimination and misconceptions. Black individuals have often faced prejudice and bias in various social, professional, and educational settings because of their hair. This has led to discussions and advocacy surrounding natural hair acceptance, policies against hair discrimination, and promoting inclusivity and diversity.

It's crucial to recognize and respect the diversity of black hair and to appreciate and celebrate its beauty in all its forms
