Ernie Doors arrives at Halfway House 17 and tells his tale to the custodian of the House. Ernie is an odd creature who likes to abduct women and experiment with the dead.

Supernatural characters need to pass through Halfway House 17 to continue their journey. Before they can, they need to tell Guardian, the custodian of the house, their stories before he decides which door they can progress through.
