Shan Rose, District 5 Interim Commissioner, is a purpose-driven leader committed to making a meaningful impact in her community. She is deeply involved in youth mentorship, advocates for justice for the homeless, and champions community policing efforts. Her dedication to ensuring equality for all Central Floridians, especially those in District 5, remains steadfast.

Since assuming office, Shan has hit the ground running, prioritizing the needs and aspirations of District 5 residents. She has organized Back-to-School events that provided essential school supplies, hosted job fairs, and facilitated outreach and networking opportunities.
