Halted heartbeat

Listen Later

Halted heartbeat

Am I yesterday’s dinner? Or should I feel like a winner?

Skip acting smooth cause I’m falling off just like a

beginner

Because I have a halted heartbeat, sweatin’ my bed sheet

Spinning my head, leaving me laying here feeling so

incomplete

Nothing like a direction, if you’re off you can make a

correction

Slash across my dream, an untended wound leads to infection

Combat, inner emotional battles, a memory versus future ones your head rattles

I’m feeling lifeless, halted heartbeat and babe you’re my

AED complete with paddles

Come bring my pulse back, give me a little fever, we rode

through hell its true, but I’d never leave her

At the end of the day, when the lights go out and she’s

lying by my side , I feel like an over achiever

So, mama tell me do you suppose, tomorrow you could come hold me close?

Oh, babe you know that’s the thing that both of us really

need the most!

No more halted heartbeats, no more lost lamb bleats

Nothing but sunshine, love, and tender kisses sweet
