TechArk founder and CEO, Pratik Kothari came to America with a small loan and a big dream. After graduating from Old Dominion University with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, he worked hard to become Chief Technology Officer at a local Virginia Beach company. Alec Yuzhbabenko is an Associate Design Principal with Hanbury Architects who challenges the status-quo with innovative and socially sustainable ideas. Alec’s passion and creativity has received recognition on a regional and national level. His work has won awards from the AIA Hampton Roads, HRACRE, the Branch Museum, and has been featured in an AIA National exhibit. Cheryl Tan is the founder and CEO of Cheryl Tan Media, a coaching, consulting and video marketing company based in Virginia Beach. Cheryl believes everyone has a story to tell. Hi, I’m Kaycee McCoy, a digital marketing & branding expert based in Norfolk, Virginia.

The entrepreneurial spirit runs through my veins.  My parents were successful small business owners, but they ran blue collar companies like crude oil drilling and rock hauling.  Growing up in that environment gave me a unique perspective on life; the moral of the story is that entrepreneurship was the norm and I’ve had a penchant for small business my entire life.  At the ripe age of 5 years old I was happily answering the business phone and talking on the CB Radio to our truck drivers.  And while most kids were babysitting or running lemonade stands in middle school, I was carefully crafting greeting cards and creating bracelet companies.  Small business life is a part of my DNA: it’s who I am.

Savannah Bolin serves as the Hampton Roads Regional Director for Gather; a leader in Professional Coworking in Virginia. Savannah will lead Gather’s expansion into Hampton Roads, beginning with its 30,000 square foot location at 500 East Main Street, Norfolk, Virginia to open in June 2019 with additional locations planned for the region.

Savannah was born and raised in Newport News, a graduate of James Madison University and is a current resident of Downtown Norfolk. She is passionate about her community and the economic growth and development of Hampton Roads. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in community engagement, event planning, fundraising and management.

Savannah serves on the Board of Directors for tHRive, the Young Professionals program of the Hampton Roads Chamber and is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Virginia Beach advocating for our country’s most vulnerable children. Outside of work, Savannah enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and giving back to her community in ways that are meaningful to her.
