I just got a beautiful HPD from my friends Kenny Burrell & his Wife Katherine Goodrich-Burrell made my day already! Kenny cut a record with the tune Lover Man a few yrs. ago live at Village Vanguard, I want to send this out to Kenny & Katherine and a story about what Sonny Stitt told me in Boston (many times, over and over) there's a lot of ways to slice a cake, but the melody is always king folks - from a virtual gig I did the other day, my green tie beads to keep the spirit and luck of St. Patrick's Day going - everybody have a beautiful lucky healthy day, and happy too folks!
