Hammond Report March 2 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from the organist & accordionist Jon Hammond, today's music story about playing a jazz ballad in Shanghai, China as special guest on my friend Danny Woody's long-running jazz gig in the The Portman Ritz Carlton Shanghai China in the jazz bar on mezzanine level. I went to Shanghai 4 times for the first 4 years of the Music China trade fair organized by my friend Wilhelm-Peter Charly Hosenseidel (sadly deceased) Danny did that gig for 10 years and also his famous custom Chinese military sidecar motorcycles, which were sold in the hotel's gift shop!
