Hamumu Halloween Home Horror Hoedown

We're back for another year of reviews, starting with "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" (2019), which we went all the way to the theater to see!

It's a Halloween tradition! I laid on the couch and watched movies for the ENTIRE DAY. Hear my spoilerrific reviews for 9 horror films: The Hunted (2014), The Horror Network (2015), Malevolent (2018), Truth or Dare (2017), Tragedy Girls (2017), Darkness (2004), Island Zero (2018), Seven In Heaven (2018), and The Devil's Candy (2017). We even roped in Solee for a couple of them.

Here's our final wrap up and analysis for 2018's month of movie mayhem!

For our grand finale this month, we scooped up the entire rest of the Bad Ben films: Steelmanville Road, Badder Ben, Bad Ben: The Mandela Effect, and the latest release, The Crescent Moon Clown. It's not just a podcast, it's a Quadcast! How do they compare to the original, which garnered an astounding 5 Spooky Haunted Baby Toys from our resident critic? Let's find out.

We never saw the original, but we sure did watch "Halloween" (2018) to share with you! Watch the final(?) confrontation between Michael Myers and the one that got away, with us! This podcast has an amazing ending you will not believe, seriously.

Just an early warning about "The Open House" (2018): Feel free to listen to our podcast (because we're fun!), but DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. Find out why not by listening!

In "Hideaway" (1995), Jeff Goldblum wears a turtleneck and stammers. Did you expect him to do anything else?

Just to be clear, "Tag" (2015) is NOT the hilarious comedy about a group of men who've played a single game of Tag for years on end (That's "Tag" (2018)!). Nope, this Japanese film is... not that. Definitely. Hope you're a fan of both gore and confusion.

We watched the original 1982 version, so now we follow up with "The Thing" (2011)! How does it compare? Find out by jamming some earbuds in your ears and cranking us up!

Our first zombie film for the month is "Life After Beth" (2014). Can our hero get over his girlfriend's death? Is that easier or harder if she comes back? You probably know the answer.
