In Chapter 8 of The Mandalorian, Mando and his crew are pinned down by Moff Gideon’s forces, who come armed with big speeches and even bigger blasters. IG-11 makes a heroic comeback, zooming in like the world’s deadliest nanny on a speeder bike to save Baby Yoda. After a fierce showdown, Mando defeats Gideon and finally earns his official Mandalorian signet. The episode ends with Gideon slicing his way out of a wrecked TIE fighter, with the help of the Darksaber’s dramatic entrance, because villains in capes never just stay down.
