Il fut un temps - pas si lointain - où Lausanne était considérée comme une ville underground de la scène électronique européenne. Depuis la disparition du quartier historique du Flon et des clubs légendaires comme le Loft, Cult ou La Ruche, qui s'arrête encore à Lausanne pour écouter de la musique électronique alternative ?

Fondée en 2020, l'association à but non lucratif Odiolab réunit des passionnés de l'audio. Fort du succès du festival de radio Podkast.FM qui s'est tenu à Lausanne en 2024, Odiolab souhaite créer un nouvel élan avec mUZIC.radio.

Du 18 août au 16 septembre 2025, ce projet innovant combinera une diffusion musicale 24/7 via la radio UZIC (FM + web) avec des événements physiques au Centre Pluriculturel & social d'Ouchy (CPO) au cœur de Lausanne.

Dans un monde saturé de formats musicaux standardisés, mUZIC.radio vise à offrir une plateforme de visibilité aux créateurs de musique électronique alternative, tout en tissant des liens plus étroits avec les publics lausannois et genevois, qui pourront écouter un son exclusif sur la radio FM pendant 30 jours.

A son apogée (entre 2010 et 2015), la webradio UZIC comptait plus d'un million d'écoutes par mois ! Reconnue par des artistes en Suisse, en Europe et dans le reste du monde, le succès de la webradio s'est essoufflé au fil du temps.

Alors qu'artistes et auditeurs réclament régulièrement le retour de l'UZIC, l'association Odiolab propose de reprendre ses activités quotidiennes et de rendre l'UZIC accessible lors du festival mUZIC.radio, sur FM 90.4 à Lausanne et FM 101.7 à Genève, ainsi que sur Internet.

Une fois de plus, 'UZIC takes control'.
