Taylor Morden is friend, documentary filmmaker, and generally awesome person. He's best known as the director of The Last Blockbuster, Pick It Up: Ska in 90s.  

He also holds the distinction of being the first guest on the previous incarnation of this podcast when it was called Reel Life, just 5 days before The Last Blockbuster hit streamers. 

We recorded this back and June and a lot of ground to cover – so we are breaking this interview up into two parts. 

On this episode we’re going to talk about the process behind his upcoming film Unstuffed, about the phenomenon of Build-A-Bear, and working with brand to produce commissioned documentaries. 

We’ll release part 2 the week of August 15th where we focus on his project currently in principal photography Getting Lost – about the fandom around the massively possible and now highly controversial TV series.
