There are possible emergency funds that could be allocated to this during the shut down, but this was deemed "illegal". Seems like a good time for an executive order. 1 in 8 US families rely on this aid for groceries. We are donating to Harvesters, a charity with the goal of providing equitable access to food, and I am going to include a link in our show notes to donate.
