Barbara Heilman is an OT and hand therapist who spent her career adapting equipment and creating orthosis for her patients. When she became a grandma she solved her issue with not being able to get her granddaughters car seat open due to CMCJ OA and created an adaptive piece of equipment that worked great. Her daughter Becca Davision recognized that what her mom had created could be used by so many people and decided that they would together create the UnbuckleMe system. Send an email into [email protected] and we will provide a code if you or anyone you know could use an Unbuckle me and to learn more. LOVE this team and really had a blast chatting with them.

A casual discussion with Minh Quan Tran OT, CHT from Canada about Protocols. Minh reviews how protocols are excellent for therapists who do not have a mentor to rely on. Protocols don't take into account all the variables which is a challenge and if you understand tissue healing and how structures heal you can determine a regime based on these concepts. Minh shares his experience with an array of cases, how he deals with being a young practitioner and reminds people to seek out concepts and to not get hung up on protocols.
