When Joab David's army commander killed Abner, the commander of the army of Israel under Saul  in cold blood, Abner's effort to unify Israel under David as King after Saul's death, also died that day and with it, David's hope of finally completing his transformation from a shepherd boy to the King of Israel as promised by God. That setback would be many in David's life throughout that journey from promise to realization. Experiencing setbacks may be familiar to all of us, but how we handle them may differ and so will be the outcomes. In this Episode Rev Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh discusses with the host how David handled setbacks in his life and the lessons we can learn from David's experience in successfully handling setbacks in life.
