We started the podcast to build a community. And it works! We're making new friends along the way and these friends introduce us to more friends. At the end of the day, it's all that matters. Being surrounded by friends who care for the same things, share the same passion, and try to create something bigger than themselves, that's what motivates us ultimately. Well, folks, we have a new friend, and this friend has many friends! As a matter of fact, the producer (and founding member of Death By Stereo) Paul Miner only works with friends. That's simple as that! 

He's been producing records in Southern California for the past two decades and if you wonder why his website hasn't been updated since Myspace, well, it's because he doesn't need to! Projects come his way and his biggest struggle is to find time to work with everyone reaching out to him! We connected with him because two previous guests on our podcast worked with him. Crash Overcast and Silence Of You have recorded with Paul and told us how much they loved working with him. And we understand why! When we started this podcast our goal was to try to get rock n’ rollers to unite. We thought that something was wrong with our scene, that the culture of live bands was disappearing in our town and somehow, we’re discovering we were wrong. We meet a lot of new bands that are proving every day that rock n’ roll is not dead…. A young band like Speed Of Light will give you hope for more and more decades of rock n’ roll. They might be newcomers but frankly, they are teaching a lesson to many posers. They only released live music so far because they think their music transcribes better this way. That’s bold and that says a lot in the era of autotune. Riley might be 14 but she sings with such confidence that you wouldn’t guess her age if you didn’t know. She screams and yells and she’s not afraid to address the crowd. Her two brothers, Tyler and Cameron are equally talented in their own craft and they sound like they’ve been studying all the greatest from the 70's hard rock to the Californian Stoner rock. We suspect they might have done some training with Sonic Youth and early Nirvana too... Today, they’re telling all about themselves, their DIY shows in Barbershops, their friends, and the scene they are building in the heart of Los Angeles. I got a phone call from Kenton sometime in 2019. My producer Billy  Grazaidei (Biohazard) gave him my contact because he'd knew I had some connections with the Viper Room in West Hollywood... You know, that club on the famous Sunset Strip... I was performing there with Yard Of Blondes almost on a monthly basis at the time. I'm glad I got Silence Of You their first gig over there and I couldn't wait for them to return the favor so we can all play in Orange County at the Wayfarer. Unfortunately, you know what happened... The pandemic hit and all of our plans got smashed. Kenton was curious when he saw we launched the podcast and he knew Crash Overcast (One of our guests) so when he saw we interviewed them he reach out! And I'm glad he did because he's such a nice guy. Rock N' Roll saved his life and he still uses it as therapy hoping to help other people in return. Well, I'm telling you, my friend, Pieces is a very strong song and It's helping me a lot those days. It's on repeat as I write. So thanks for that. And thanks for volunteering to help us with the podcast and our movement @team_Nowhere. Kenton is now active in our movement and helping a lot finding artists to bring on the podcast. Analog party is an LA-based rock/grunge band that knows how to make great music but they also know how to talk about it. Animaan insists on making a clear difference between rock culture and rock music. Yes, there might be a comeback of rock in the mainstream scene, but it's only a cultural comeback... so far. It doesn't mean that rock is dead, don't say that to Analog Party, they think guitar-driven music is well alive, it's just not the chosen genre of the media. Today, Fernanda and her co-host Vincent (of the band Yard Of Blondes) are chatting with Billy Graziadei, the hardcore legend. Billy is a founding member of the band Biohazard and has launched two new ventures in recent years. He has teamed with Sendog from Cypress Hill and together they have formed Powerflo. Billy has also started a solo career under the moniker Billy Bio and when he's not on tour, he's busy producing in his LA studio, Firewater Studios. He has produced the upcoming album of Yard Of Blondes, Vincent's band.

Billy has been consistent with his values and attitude throughout his career and this is what he wants to pass on to the younger generation. Saving rock n' roll doesn't mean to save a style of music but rather an attitude. Together, we ask ourselves what it means to make it for an artist. Very interesting conversation with an Emo band from the LA area that played the last edition of the Warped Tour. Alex, the singer has started his Tik Tok account during the pandemic and already has gained 20K+ followers in the last few months with his emo fueled comedy bits. We were skeptics but trust us, he's hilarious! The good thing is that it might help us understand that the new revolution of rock might need the help of the communities that are now developing on those platforms. Will Tik Tok save rock n' roll? Maybe...
