Episode 92, I talk with Professional Artist, Diosdado Mondero, or "Dodie", about his journey to becoming an artist that almost didn't happen! Dodie is an Art Director, a Public Art Curator for the town of Naperville, IL, a Graphic Design Artist, a Painter, an Air Brush Artist, a Photographer, an Old Painting Restorer, and more!!! Born in the Philippines and then coming to America, was just the start of Dodie's journey in his life. He knew he had this art skill from the age of 9, while drawing on the floor and honing his skill all the way through Junior High and then High School. He was about to enlist into the U.S. Military when fate happened and his Teachers and Guidance Counselor stepped into the way from making a huge mistake! I find out what type of art Dodie first started with and what else he would go on to learn. Finally, being picked up for an art job and then eventually breaking away from that to do his own thing. Episode 90, I talk with Gerardo Pavon, the vocalist from the Death Metal band Bodybag from Illinois. We talk about the band and how it formed as well as some of our mutual friends in the IL music scene and the local venue in Mokena, the Soundlab.
