By using a creative viewpoint, APVA commemorates Africa Day on May 25, 2023 through it's maiden edition, dedicated to audio creatives.
Utukufu presents an incredible opportunity to lead impact-driven conversations, strengthen the audio-creative sector, and have a fantastic relationship with host communities like ours, which will foster connections between youths across Africa and the world at large.
Thought leaders, activists, campaigners, podcasters, and spoken word artists are a few examples of creative individuals and entities who push the envelope, challenging stereotypes and reimagining the African narrative for audiences around the world.
APVA aspires to elevate African voices, highlight the admirable inventive efforts of its youth, and motivate us to own and be united in our accomplishments and challenges through the most exciting, educational, and engaging dialogues about Africa.
The Utukufu initiative has achieved a significant milestone in promoting African poetry, fostering cultural exchange, and nurturing the next generation of literary talents by providing a platform that embraces and celebrates the diverse voices of African audio creatives.
This collective action and engagement reflect the resounding success of the Utukufu contest, setting the stage for a bright future of African poetry appreciation and creativity.
