29 is Here and with it all the fears that come with growing older and feeling inadequate. It's a reminder that I am loved for all eternity by Abba, that He beautifies my life and as I walk into this new age, it becomes a new season of rest and rejoicing.

No one likes to wait, if we can get it now why wait, however there are lessons to be learnt in a season of waiting, it becomes an opportunity to build up our faith and develop unwavering trust in God. We have come to the end of this season and as we journey through our season of waiting we can decide to wait with worry or rest in the knowledge that God's plans are always for our good.

Vulnerability scares us, it scares me. I saw it as a weakness and I hid myself from people because I didn't want to be taken advantage of, I wanted people to see me as strong and trust is difficult. But Abba says let me tear down the walls, drop the facade, I love you the way you are, open up to me. You don't need to keep struggling on your own.

Death is painful and until you have walked in the shoes of someone who has lost a loved one, it is often hard to understand their grief. I recently lost my grandma and somedays the pain gets a lot, somedays it doesn't feel like it has sunk in that she is gone, however I am learning to savor the memories and lean into Abba when the pain hits me and that's what Abba is asking you to do today, lean into Him for comfort and succor, you don't have to be strong.

Anything that has control over you and is not in alignment with God’s Word is an addiction and often we get trapped in the cycle of sin and repentance and being trapped in a cycle is the worst place to be in and it is easy to trivialize it and not learn from the past but the devil learns from it and becomes more strategic in attacking us and our walk with God. Today is a call to reflect on our lives and see the areas that call for amendment, everything you want is in Christ. You can also check out the Qualified Preacher podcast on Anchor.

These letters expose my heart before God, sometimes the letters are painful to write, other times I am bursting at the seams with what I want to write. All in all it represents growth to me and the person Abba is shaping me to be. I hope they speak to your heart and situation.
