Brett framed Mullin’s comments as a wake-up call, especially with Thanksgiving travel approaching, arguing that unsafe drivers on major highways pose a growing threat to families on the road. He questioned why leaders like California Governor Gavin Newsom and the Biden administration aren’t, in his view, taking stronger steps to ensure road safety and immigration enforcement. Brett portrayed the situation as part of a broader pattern of lawlessness—drug trafficking, human trafficking, and violent crime—that he believes Americans are increasingly forced to tolerate.
