This Sunday at Way Church, Hannah Tarbuck led us through a special message on Mothering Sunday. It was a heartfelt reminder of the beautiful relationship between Christ and His Church. With Jesus as the head and we, His people, as the body.

Through this message, she spoke honestly about the reality of church hurt and the moments when people can feel disconnected or unsure about being part of the body. Yet at the heart of the message was a powerful truth: every single person has value, purpose and a place within God’s family.

Just as a body is made up of many parts working together, the Church is formed by people uniquely created and deeply loved by God. This message invites us to see the Church not as a place of perfection, but as a living, growing body where we honour one another, support one another and remember that we all belong.
