HAPHAZARD DISCUSSIONS PODCAST

Its that time of the year! Its March Madness! College basketball is taking over for the next three weeks! Did you fill out your brackets for your work/office pool? Want to see our brackets? Check out our IG account, and you can see which teams Dom & I picked! Who's going to win the national championship? Will it be a "Blue-Blood" school?!? Will a mid-major program have a major upset in the tournament?  Will we see the usual suspects in the elite 8 or Final 4?!?! We talk brackets, we talk picks, we talk upsets, and we talk who's going all the way!

THE GOAT IS BACK!!! LESSS FCKN' GO!!! This tweet went viral, and probably halted that war in eastern Europe for like 3 minutes, but TOM BRADY is coming out of retirement and coming back to play for a FCKN' 23RD NFL SEASON! My uncle is a machine!!! Lol

Like always, with every episode on Haphazard Discussions, we always end with shout outs!  We hope our shout outs get heard!  Please listen to our podcast on any podcast platform you folks listen to!  Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, iHeartRadio, & Amazon Music!  Rate us, comment, or just drop us a DM!  We look forward to reading what is on your guys' minds!

Did you watch the Super Bowl?!? Awesome game! Funny commercials! And that halftime show! Fckn one of the best!!! Westcoast throwing it down at SoFi Stadium! Dom & I talk about the recap, about the big game, the halftime show, and which team has the better shot to go farther during next NFL season! Do you vote? Hopefully you do, because we like to talk politics!  We talk like we know what we’re re talking about! So with that said, I ask Dom, who he would vote for, for our next Gov. for the state of Hawaii!

Welcome you guys to this episode titled: "The Matchup"! The AFC and NFC championed were crowned, and now we got our Super Bowl LVI matchup!  The Bengals vs The Rams!  I see this matchup as "Worktime vs Showtime!" The blue collar grittyness of Cincinnati will be coming to Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles to take on the glitz and glamour of the Los Angeles Rams! Cannot wait!  Dom and I talk about both games, and now is it safe to say, is this the changing of the guard with the quarterback position?  We drop the opening SB 56 line, and we give our inital SB picks!  We also dive into, if the G.O.A.T will retire, or play one more season?
Later in this episode, Dom put in some of his personal info, and got an astrology reading?  Are these things true? Will he have an auspicious year?  Lol! And as usual at the end of our episode, we give our shouts on who we feel should get some love via your Haphazard Discussions Podcast hosts!

In this episode, Dom and I talk about the current events, most notably the state of UH's football program (because we're sports fans), and the selection of a new head coach.  Is he the right fit for the program? What went wrong with the previous head coach?  IS THE NEWEST HEAD COACH VACCINATED?!?  We talk about this covid-19 pandemic, and how its affecting us, and what we've been up too lately (nothing much).  Lastly, we give our shout-outs towards the end of our episode, hope you guys tune in to our podcast for future episodes!

Our mobile podcast is in front of an audience of over 5,000 people!  Our biggest audience yet!  On this week's episode, we give OUR FIRST EVER, EMAIL SHOUTOUT, to one of our listeners!  Mahalo Jeanie, for the email! And we hope to answer some of your questions later on in a future episode during the holiday season!

Our second topic revolves around the NCAA FOOTBALL, and its season that may be in limbo, but like Dom and I said in last week episodes, SEC & ACC conference is still a go!  Some college football teams want to have a season.  What about football independent schools?  What about mid-majors that want a shot at the "big boys!?!"  And like we said in previous episodes, college football makes money for their schools and universities!  And lastly, if you're a parent, would you send your child away for school in order to have your child get "looks" from college scouts for athletic scholarship opportunities?!?  Some states will keep their fall sports in the fall, thus giving HS prep athletes a chance to play football this fall 2020.

And remember, in the state of Hawaii: "It's not what you know, it's who you know!"  Btw: "What school you graduated from?!?!"  The latter question, might be the most "icebreaking" question when networking or meeting new people in Hawaii!

In this episode, we talk about our primary election results! Who's is moving forward to November's general election?!? Why care about state of Hawaii politics, now?!? And if we don't know who to vote for?!?...Do some, or majority of voters base their votes on, looks?!?! Dom and I decide if that may be the case for certain candidates!?! And remember, ASL is cool AF! Sign language interpretors are essential workers who pass along important information to our hear impaired community!

We hope to do a "collaboration" one day with "@Muthaship," the podcast with news anchor Stephanie Lum & her friends, but we promise, NOT to use explicit language on their wholesome podcast!  But if they came on our podcast..."anything goes!"  Hence the "E" next to our podcast name!

We also talk about, the state of the "Power 5" football conferences, and ask, "Will there be a college football season?!?!  College football is a big time money maker, and is a part of the economics, in the US!  I ask Dom, to put on his "commissioner" hat, and give his take on why there should be a college football season in the fall!  Also, Dom & I take a guess on how each power 5 conference will align with whom.  Who's out?!?  Who's waiting to make a move, and who's solidifying themselves as the "king of the mountain!"...meaning, "We're gonna have a season...!"  We end with the usual...our shoutouts!

Thanks, for listening to us! Remember to subscribe to HAPHAZARD DISCUSSIONS PODCAST to whatever platform you folks are listening on! In this episode, we talk about giving back and volunteering with our company, to help beautify one of the public schools on Oahu! What was our experience like? Why did we volunteer during this pandemic?!? What if we just wanted free stuff from our volunteering experience!?! Was it worth it?!?  In other haphazardness, D.O.E. pushes back the start of school for our kids! Thank God! Pac-12 players, decide to "opt-out" of football, because...COVID-19?!?! OR SOCIAL INJUSTICE?!?
Lastly, Dom & I talk about our mail in voting ballots! Who'd we vote for? Mayor? OHA? City Prosecutor?  Listen to our podcast to find out!  Thanks for listening and supporting us, everyone!
