The International Day of Happiness is a global event arranged by the United Nations annually on March 20. In celebration of the day, the HAPPINESS theme presents a diverse set of songs. Rob addressed the theme by selecting songs with ‘happy’ in the title such as the Turtles’ Happy Together, Happy Anniversary by the fabulous Australian group Little River Band and Tommy Dorsey’s orchestral piece I want to be Happy Cha Cha.
Mossy opted for songs that make her feel happy via the memories attached to the song. For example Paul Simon’s Kodachrome reminds her of her first trip overseas and I’m a Believer by the Monkees takes her back to their 1968 concert in Brisbane.
