Peter Winterbottom was a respected (and feared) player. His desire to challenge himself was immense, playing at highest level with the Lions, but also playing in both NZ & South Africa.
More recently, he's taken on HUGE endurance challenges to raise funds & awareness for various charities, including the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.
I was delighted when he made some time for a chat with me ahead of the Matt Ratana Marauders v MND Barbarians game on Sunday Mat 4th.
