Peter Winterbottom was a respected (and feared) player. His desire to challenge himself was immense, playing at highest level with the Lions, but also playing in both NZ & South Africa.

More recently, he's taken on HUGE endurance challenges to raise funds & awareness for various charities, including the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

Anyone who listens to me will know...

I think what makes rugby special is the people you meet, the relationships you build, the experiences you share, the places you go, and the memories you make.

I went to Amsterdam as coach of the Penguins men's XV squad. It was the first tour where the men and women went together. 

I met Vivian Bahlmann. She is incredible! She is positivity in human form. I absolutely loved getting to know her, and I've watched her journey from afar.

I was absolutely delighted when she found some time to chat with me. I loved it.
