When Zoe Aldcroft was named as the best player in the world, I was delighted but not surprised. 

Her performances recently have been outstanding and it seems like there is still lots more to come.

I still watch Living with the Lions, I still get goosebumps, I still wish I had been there.

I had the VHS, I had the DVD. 

Bentos became my hero and I am lucky to now call him my friend, I love talking to him. Tom Smith was a Scottish Lion more than once, quiet, but awesome.

I read the book Fringes, about life on the fringe of Professional Rugby by Ben Mercer and loved it. 

I was on the Fringe of the Fringe and could relate to some of what I read, enjoyed what I read and had some of my questions answered too. But I wanted more!

Simon Amor broke my heart a few times.

Arriving in Hong Kong in 2001, England went on a great run of 7s victories and as proud Scotsman, it was tough. But he was class, what a player!

He has coached at a high level for years in different, challenging environments and I love his enthusiasm for the game and most all, for people.

He now finds himself in my second home and I was delighted he gave up some time to have a chat.

It took some convincing, but I'm glad my mate Sean kept on at me. I've loved podcasting and don't want it to stop.
