First up, did you know Mark Manning’s birthday is coming up? On Thursday, June 6 join in the celebration for Mark Manning as well as celebrating PRIDE week in downtown Kansas City at Nighthawk below Hotel Kansas City - Pride Showcase at Nighthawk + Mark Manning B-day Bash with Zava, Zee + Kat King on Thurs., June 6 The evening will feature three acts and will be hosted by Mark Manning AND he'll be doing stand-up comedy between sets! On the Eight One Sixty we’ll hear music from two of the acts on the lineup, ZAVA and Zee Underscore. Kat King is also on the lineup, and we played music from her catalog last week.

After the Mark Manning love, we’ll jump into a pile of new releases from KC bands and musicians. We’ve got some great stuff planned for you, including two contenders for TOP TEN songs of the year from The Freedom Affair and Clarks in Space (featuring Clarke Wyatt and Betse Ellis).
