This is a deeply personal episode and may have content that people find triggering. However, having experienced a lot of different types of grief this year I feel it is an episode I need to put out there. Getting an ADHD diagnosis is often a conversation that I find crops up between myself, friends, parents and others.

The road towards it can be long, frustrating, and can lead to impatience and self doubt. However, what noone really ever talks about is what happens in the immediate moment afterwards. The time when it changes from talking to people about getting an ADHD diagnosis, to having an ADHD diagnosis.
