In this episode, I want to share something close to my heart—celebrating

Lao New Year in April. This special time of year is full of joy,

tradition, and connection. It’s when families come together, people

return home, and communities celebrate with love and laughter.

Lao New Year is not just a celebration—it’s a beautiful cultural

tradition. We prepare a lot of food, gather to eat together, and visit

temples to pray and reflect. One of the most joyful parts is the water

festival, where people splash water on each other as a symbol of

cleansing, renewal, and good wishes for the year ahead.

Even though I am far from home, I deeply miss these moments—the

togetherness, the warmth, and the sense of belonging. But in my heart,

those memories are still alive.
