Jesus is the Son of Man, the Lord of the Sabbath; the king of everlasting dominion in whose kingdom we find our ultimate Sabbath rest.

Jesus has come to initiate a new covenant, a covenant entirely focused on His atoning sacrifice cleansing us from all sin and His righteous works attributed to us transforming us from sinners to saints. We cannot cling to the old if we want to experience what He has made new.
