Back in the day, I was a huge fan of the sound of Hardcore Italia, and, of course, I still am. The Italians know how to make proper music, that's for sure! I remember playing Anime's Detonate over and over again. So, when I got the chance to take part in a producer contest and create a remix of this classic, it was an opportunity I would never let slip away. However, there was a small downside to this...

It's 2025, and the scene has evolved a lot—faster than the speed of light, it feels. People's opinions go back and forth day and night, sometimes even leading to the most pointless fights, sadly. In my mind, I kept thinking, "Yeah, I don't want to ruin such a classic." Then I came up with an idea: since I’ve been focusing on higher BPMs lately and want to keep my tracks musical, why not combine some elements of the original with a specific Millennium sound? On top of that, I could add some proper uptempo influences, and together, it would still have my own unique style.

After all these years of sound design, almost every element you hear in my tracks is something I crafted myself. I knew I could make the remix both modern and true to those Millennium vibes. This way, I could stay proud of the original track, which meant so much to me in the past—and still does. As a matter of fact, tracks like Detonate even carried me through tough times.
