Hardeep is currently working on his doctoral thesis which questions the relationship between ethno-nationalism and imperial identity on the eighteenth-century British Grand Tour. In 2022 he undertook a Leverhulme Study Abroad Studentship at the British School at Rome, where he researched the wider relationship between classical antiquity and the British Empire.
