In the midst of this intriguing story we learn something about ourselves and our relation to the God who holds “your life and all your ways.”

Daniel: God's Model Missionary"

What if Daniel was not sent to Babylon in order to show us how to stay faithful and rise above our oppressors and be “blessed”? What if instead, Daniel were God’s missionary, sent to Babylon to faithfully serve and witness to Nebuchadnezzar? What if this book was intended to teach us about God and His mission rather than how to use God for our own desired success?
