Key Verse: James 4:14-15
Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”
Sermon Snapshot: We all make a variety of plans: plans for dinner, plans for work, plans for our family, plans for retirement. But as much as might hope to, we cannot determine outcomes. Head out for your favorite dinner, but if they just served the last portion, you won’t be eating what you set out for. Planning to control our future is bound to face frustrations. Planning in order to be available to obey My Faithful Savior will always be an adventure.
