    • #WOKE BELGIUM (VICTORIA 3 FULL PLAYTHROUGH) LIVE - 4

WOKE BELGIUM (VICKTORIA 3 FULL PLAYTHROUGH)

CONRADS, we will liberate the dutch from monarchism. Only the blood of kings and tyrants can grow the tree of liberty!

This is part 4, we are truly into alternate history now. We are making progress towards egalitarian society, but we need to protect ourselves from the great powers that seek to prevent Belgian prosperity. Worker power, in an alliance with the intelligentsia and petty bourgeois, has held back the power of the monarchy.

Still don't know how we're going to deal with the John Cockeril company.

It's a victoria 3 full gameplay playthrough on linux with me, Turbles Celbor. I will attempt to create a truly egalitarian society in belgium in the face of the imperial pressures, ideally after conquering the north (get that squared away).

We've done a few longplays of victoria 3 on this channel, but never a commentary playthrough. Unlike before we are playing a recognized minor power, which should help diplomacy immensely. I am also playing with the most recent commerce expansion, which has an actual world market to interact with.

Victoria 3 is a grand strategy game by paradox interactive. Instead of being played out in a series of turns, the game advances in real time and the player has the ability to pause. You will no doubt see the majority of my playtime will be in paused mode.

      The system configuration I'm using:

      OS: Arch Linux x86_64

      Host (MB modle): B450M/ac R2.0
      Kernel: 6.15.9-arch1-1
      Shell: bash 5.3.3
      Resolution: 1920x1080
DE: Plasma 6.4.4 [KF 6.16.0] [Qt 6.9.1] (wayland)
      WM: kwin_wayland_wr
      Terminal: konsole
      CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 (12) @ 4.2GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 580
      Memory: 31.21 Gib
      BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 5.17

      Game Info:

      Game: Victoria 3 (steam)
Runtime/compatibility: Steam Linux Native Runtime 1.0 (scout)
      Version: 1.9.7 (lady grey)
DLC: Charters of Commerce | Spheres of Influence | Colossus of the South | Dawn of Wonder | Voice of the People | Melodies for the Masses
