We have been created for a purpose and that purpose includes joyfully giving up everything for the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 13:44). But what actually is the Kingdom of Heaven in our day to day lives and what does it even mean to give up everything?

We look at the forgiveness Jesus has provided for us and how the cross demonstrates God's unconditional love for every person. He defeated sin and evil by laying His own life down and taking our place. All the enemy there at Him was dealt with on the cross and His victory won our freedom. Now we blond to Him, we are called to share the good news of this love with everyone.

Jesus came to remind humanity that they were created by a loving God. And that they have been purposed to live in the kingdom of Heaven not just when their body's perish but right here on earth, right now.

God has given us talents, time and treasure (money), and His desire is for us to steward these well. The first part of all our income belongs to the Lord and we honour Him by giving this to support our church. Money is a powerful tool to see God’s Kingdom grow and our generosity directly empowers the Gospel to get people saved. Jesus said that where our treasure is our heart will be also. So let’s put Jesus first as our eternal treasure and be faithful in giving with joyful hearts of thanksgiving and worship.

God is calling us to faithful financial stewardship. The concept of stewardship is having something in your possession that is not your possession. God has given talents, time, and treasure (money), and He desires us to steward these well. The first part of all our income belongs to the Lord and He invites us to honour Him with this. When we put Jesus first in our finance the promise of abundant provision and blessing follows.
