In the beginning we are told that there was light and it wasn't from the sun. John sheds some light in his introduction as to who the light is, that being Jesus. God makes a covenant with Abraham but only God takes on the responsibility of fulfilling it. That happens in Jesus dying on the cross... 

God's plan for our salvation is evident even in nature itself. Abraham found himself being asked by God if he can explain who holds the constellation (which is later discovered in 1968)  Pleiades together. God asks him a series of questions as He makes it clear, He hold everything together. We see in nature the fibonacci sequence formula that is found in anything that is beautiful. Engineers and architects have used it to build beautiful designs. Its very clear God is at work in everything and soon He will judge the world. Which side will you be?

There are guiding principles provided by the Bible on how we can experience a wholistic Christian life here on earth. In this podcast I will outline them and explain using examples.

As Christians we can be tempted to cruise through our faith and not do our part. We are told by Paul that all our works on earth as Christians will earn us rewards in Heaven and they will be tested. Our works don't justify us but they count a lot in our life after earth.

Many of us would love to be happy, and if we are honest we are willing to do anything to get there. We may need to redefine what happiness looks like for a Christian and I can assure you, there is no happiness outside of Christ. We are going to get to hear more from John himself who is the disciple that lived the longest.
