We begin the letters to the seven churches by looking at Ephesus, which was a distracted church. Christ is faithful to confront sin and error wherever He finds it. The error in Ephesus was leaving their first love!

A look at the Father's love though the eyes of the younger son who went into the far country and wasted his substance on riotous living. Here is a wonderful illustration of the truth that God receives repentant sinners! When God's mercy meets up with the sinner's sins - our sins don't stand a chance!
