We conclude the preaching on the church of the Laodiceans. in verses 20-22 we see a word of possibilities - "...if any man hear my voice..." - the sad situation of the church is revealed and the glad situation for the Christian is revealed. We can hear God's voice and respond by opening the door. Then, we sup with Him in sweet fellowship.

Isaiah prophecies more than 700 years before the birth of Christ and says a child would be born, a son would be given, and that the government would be upon His shoulder. Jesus was born to die, but also to rule. Man needs a Redeemer, and man needs a Ruler; we have both in Jesus Christ our Lord.
