It's been a while.

Welcome Back, everyone. This episode has been something I've wanted to speak on for a while now.

I signed up for an Ironman back in January 2019 and after getting my training programme through i didn't really know where to start in terms of how to tie all of the training sessions together and handle the load and duration of these sessions.

I fell into a great podcast from Rich Roll and Chris Hauth talking about the benefits of training in zone 2. I had no idea about this type of training method. Essentially it's going slower to get faster in the long run.

Anyways throughout my training for Ironman, I developed a concept MTF. Mind Technique Fitness, this is something derived from my training in Zone 2. I talk about the ability to control my mind through my patience whilst training and getting used to correct techniques and performing better and getting fitter in the process.

My recovery and ability to training 7 days a week. Back to back double sessions with high loads is something I only attribute to developing a good base fitness and training my mind to handle the load of training sessions and demand.

Welcome back to another Episode people.

When was the last time you set yourself a challenge???

Are we coming out of our comfort zones enough? Do we coast in life without really pushing our capabilities?

This Episode I sat down with Josh Howell and we spoke about the incredible challenge of becoming an Ironman 70.3 and Ironman Finisher.

For those who are unaware of what an Ironman is, it consists of a 2.4Mile swim, 112Mile Cycle and a 26.2 Mile Marathon.

A heck of an achievement to complete these challenges and all on a Vegan Lifestyle. Josh wanted to prove you can not only live a Compassionate Vegan lifestyle but also still compete in some of the toughest challenges in the world.

According to Quora in 2015 on Average around 0.01% of the world's population has finished an Ironman (without repeats)

I had a really interesting conversation with Josh getting to know about his Lifestyle and upcoming challenges he sets himself.

Hello Everyone, in aid of mental health awareness week. Really good episode with Adam Reakes, discussing moving abroad to play Soccer/Football in America.

We spoke about the transitional periods, what adjustments you need to make and also how the journey "made him more humble"

Such a refreshing episode and i can fully relate to what Adam says in the introduction about your perspective on what is important in life, especially when you return to a place where the goal may be to always focus on having expensive things all the time.

Charmaine was born in London where she remained until she was 7 years old. She spent the remainder of her childhood and adolescent years growing up in parts of Manchester and Essex before returning to live in London as an adult. After spending most of her life battling with her own mental health illness she decided to pursue a career in training in Mental Health Recovery and Social Inclusion.

Charmaine now specialises in areas related to organisational change structures and the implementation of peer involvement and peer development, co-production and user-led delivery of mental health services.

She has a passion for creative arts and loves mindfulness, body movement, performance and her new found joy training in trauma-sensitive yoga.

She is a mother, a poet, a thinker, a doer, an independent trainer and peer consultant with over ten years of experience of working with people suffering from chronic and enduring mental health conditions.

Charmaine works between East London NHS Foundation Trust and North East London NHS Foundation Trust, she also works within the charity sector and currently manages projects for Redbridge Disability Consortium One Place East funded by the big lottery and LBR.

She is an Open Dialogue practitioner, a member of the teaching team working as a part-time trainer on the postgraduate certificate in peer-supported open dialogue, social network and relationship skills (POD) Charmaine is also the founder of Peer Dialogue.

This podcast we discuss and reflect on the Mental Health Conversations Seminar she hosted and the importance of working together as collectives to shape change.

From humble beginnings to business owner Shane Harris speaks about his continued success with Harris + Wood Property Agency and how he "built from the ground up"

Shane speaks openly about his trials and learning experiences regarding business and gives listeners an insight into the parameters of setting a business up, especially in a competitive field. "You have to be innovative to succeed"

Harris + Wood Agency is a property based business who deal with Sales. Lettings + Have a mortgages referral team in We Are Mortgages.

At the time of recording the Podcast Harris + Wood Property Agency were the highest Selling Estate Agency office in Colchester year to date based on figures produced by Rightmove.

They are yet to reach their second year in business and have grown from a 3 man office to a 14 man office in a short space of time.

They're looking to open office number 2 within the next 12-18 months.
