Sometimes it is only when we experience the disappointment and consequences of getting our WANTS that we recognize how much greater are the promises and blessings of God meeting our NEEDS.

In this great salvation history which spans thousands of years, God chooses to work in a very microscopic way, with two widows and a farmer, to make sure we could one day hear the Good News of God’s great love and salvation.

God Blesses Us, but when we are always focused on what we do not yet have, we become blind to all the blessings God has already showered upon us

We are free from the Law of sin and death so we can faithfully live in the freedom of Christ.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.

The altar is more than a place of repentance. As Noah and Abraham show us in the book of Genesis, the altar is also a place of worship, of thanksgiving, and complete surrender to our gracious and loving God.
