She has been used in a variety of evangelistic meetings as well as women’s meetings and has seen many people saved, delivered, and healed by the power of God! Renae has also served as a full-time children’s minister for nine years, she has ministered overseas in Africa, Asia, and Latin America as well as in the US for various Leadership Retreats, Women’s Retreats, Girls Camps, Pre-teen Camps, and Middle School Camps.

Life is busy. Maybe we can stop and rest tonight after work. Maybe this weekend. Perhaps next month when things calm down. There is no good time to plan to stop; we just need to stop in our activities, even when they are not done. It's not about trying it during a convenient time. Instead, have that Sabbath be available at any time.

BE STILL: During this series, we will be challenged to be able to step away from responsibilities and the fast-paced busyness of our crazy lives just to be in His presence and know that He is God. Look at the earth – the trees, soil, and rivers – all of it is a show of His character. What do you learn when you sit and wait on Him?

God commands us to rest, to "honor the Sabbath." What does that mean? Do we not get any work done that day? Do we relax and play video games? Do we not move in fear of making God angry? In the Bible, Jesus realized that people were trying to perform the Sabbath. When the Pharisees saw Jesus's disciples picking grain to eat during the Sabbath, they were hysterical – why would they not follow the law? Jesus speaks out and says that He is Lord, even over the Sabbath! Honoring the Sabbath is not about what you do, it's about getting to know Jesus.

This time we look at the decision to become trapped by our own hurt and disappointment towards a person, or do we take the higher road and remember that Jesus is the only true and good judge. Joseph is a great example of this idea; the process he took while dealing with the hurt his brothers caused him will be a great story to show us how we should take on this issue. .
