That gives us the power to do what you've called us to do to live the way that you've called us to live and to be who you've called us to be. And so next Sunday, we will be in the worship center, just down the road. Yeah. So we got our permitting to assemble and everything this last week. So we are all good to go. So very exciting stuff just for the parents. So zero through 23 months, we have kids classes over at the worship center and then all the kids up from that next, this is next week. All the kids up from that are going to be still in their same classes here. 2 (47s): So, but today is family Sunday. So kids first grade and up will be in service with their families. And then, yeah, so first grade and up, we'll be in service with your families. And we've also got donuts out on the, by the patio there. So definitely go check those out and that's all I got for you. My name is Tom . I'm the head of school here for coastal Christian school. And I just appreciate so much that your church has been a great supporter of our school and a partner with us. And many of your people here have been a part of the work that God does at coastal Christian school. And that video that was just made how was filmed during COVID, which means kids can still have fun out there in this world. And even during that time of the craziness, but it shows you that our school just isn't a kind of a normal Christian school is more of a Christian experience. There's other ministries that kind of feed into what we do. There's a church influence. Obviously we have chapels and Bible classes. 15 (3m 45s): We have a camp kind of influence when we go to spiritual emphasis. And, and so it's, it's a Christian experience. And so during these, these years here, it coastal Christian, we're celebrating our 50th anniversary this year. Yes. And it's really a celebration of God's faithfulness to that work. And I define Christian education this way. It's I define it as having truth and wisdom, saturating their knowledge and truth is obviously Jesus. He is the way the truth and the life. And so we want God's word to just permeate. What, what they're hearing in, help them develop a biblical worldview, where they're actually taking the word of God and creating that as the lens to see the world, because you guys know education's not neutral anymore. 15 (4m 33s): There's an agenda at everything. I have an agenda. I want these kids to know Jesus and be able to have a personal relationship with him and be able to go forth into this world, knowing their mission and, and be able to think well and everything. Love to have you all gathered together today, a beautiful day out. So want to welcome you, those of you in the sanctuary, also in the loft and the patio, and those are tuning in online. So my name is Ron and I have a few pieces of information you might be interested in. So the first of which is today is, is what we call family Sunday. So the fourth, Sunday of each month, what we do is we encourage families to worship together. 4 (5m 36s): And so if you have kids that are first grade and up, they don't have class today. They're they're in with mom and dad with a family. And if you have kids younger than first grade, if you want to keep them with you in church, that's totally fine. We encourage that. But if you want to take them to class, we do have class for the little ones. So you'll feel, feel free to do that. Also on family Sunday, it's popular because we have donuts. So I head up the driveway, right near the info center. You're going to find a bunch of donuts, feel free to help yourself. There's coffee up there, and just a fun time to gather together and have coffee and donuts. But more importantly, today, we also have communion. And so towards the end of Steve's message, he will be inviting us to partake of communion and have communion together as, as the family of God. 4 (6m 22s): So we can look forward to that. So what we do three or four, three times a year, we have life groups that we start up. I should know this, right? If I'm making the album is I should know about this. So what we have is, is a new flyer. We put together about the different life groups that are coming up quickly. 4 (7m 2s): It beginning in may. So a life group is simply a small group of folks that gathered together in somebody's home may be here on campus, smaller venues during the week. And we w we really encourage everybody to get involved in a life group, a small group, because that's where you really get connected with people. And you really get into the, you know, the life of the church and make relationships and all that kind of good step. So feel free to pick one of these up there, up again at the info center, but just to let you know, we've got groups going on in a row grand day, we've got groups in Grover beach and a Pomo. We've got a couple of different men's groups that are happening. A bunch of women's groups that are happening as well. Probably the most important group of all. We've got a prayer group that meets on Thursday mornings would encourage you to be a part of that. 4 (7m 45s): There's a singles Bible study, and there is what we call recreational groups. So this is the good yarn club. So they get together and have fellowship and, and knit things, which is super fun. So check that out. Okay. What else is going on? 4 (9m 35s): Good morning church. How are we doing? Good. Everybody doing good? Yeah. Sweet. Sweet. I got a few announcements for ya if you're ready for it. So, you know, just hang onto your seats here. We got some good stuff here going on. My name is Curtis, first of all, and I work here at church. I do branding and design and stuff like that. So I'm very blessed to work here. And so this year we've got Easter celebrations happening next Sunday. It's going to be at 10:00 AM. And please, please, please. On your way out, grab a flyer, invite a friend, invite a coworker, invite a neighbor. We've got them at all the exits all the entrances. So please grab a flyer on your way out and invite somebody. 4 (10m 18s): I was actually at, I was going to pick up some faucets for the worship center about a week and a half ago, and the person who was helping me, I just had it on my heart that I should invite them. So I gave her a flyer and she was like so excited and so thankful to receive it. And so if you're, you know, if you're hesitant about it, just, you know, trust the Lord and he'll guide you, it's going to be really good. So also, if you want to sign up for serving for Easter on Saturday, set up or clean up or whatever you want to do, we'll have a QR code on the screen that you can scan and sign up there. So we had a great turnout, I think 35, 40 people or something like that and got a lot done there. That was great energy. It was super exciting and really fun and just a great time to connect together. So it went really well. And so we're excited about the progress that's happening at the worship center and yeah, it's all, it's all going great. And then M six men's gathering is happening tomorrow night at 6:00 PM. 4 (11m 44s): So a thousand Hills ranch. But also you Lord, that people would just feel your love for them and your grace for them. Lord God. So Lord, we just invite your power and your presence. Lord, we invite you to do supernaturally abundantly above everything that we might hope or imagining Christ Jesus, Lord, that there would just be life changing worship today. 1 (20m 12s): Life-changing prayer today life-changing fellowship today. God, that you'd be glorified. God, we're so honored by your presence. And I pray God that you would fill every room on this campus, every space Lord inside and outside, Lord, God, God, that we would just experience your presence. Lord God, that would draw them by your holy spirit.
