1 Corinthians 8 | We paused the book of Isaiah to take some time to look at 1 Corinthians 8 and what it looks like to love one another as God's people, in current times and for all of life.

Isaiah 2-5  |  Pastor Greg unpacks chapters 2 through 5 and talks about how dangerous the sin of pride is. Humanity will be humbled and God will be exalted. He will also restore and renew. 

Truth Statement: When man exalts himself, God will surely judge him, while keeping his promised hope of restoration for his remnant, Zion.

Matthew 5-7  |  We spent this Sunday morning listening to the Sermon on the Mount in its entirety as we reflected on what it is Jesus is calling us to in him.

Matthew 7:21-27  |  Pastor Greg teaches on choosing God's kingdom and whole-person righteousness by having a true relationship with Jesus out of which overflows an outward expression of righteousness.

Truth Statement: Choose God’s kingdom by acting on Jesus’ warning that no one will enter the kingdom by outward works but need a true relationship with him.

Matthew 7:13-20  |  Pastor Greg teaches on choosing life and truth in Jesus instead of following the voices in the world around us that lead us away from him. 

Truth Statement: Choose God’s kingdom by entering through the narrow gate since it is the only way to life, and false prophets among you seek to destroy you.

Matthew 7:1-12  |  Alex teaches on what Jesus says it looks like to treat one another with grace and mercy, while also encouraging one another in truth and the ways of God. 

Matthew 26-28  |  He is risen! Pastor Greg emphasizes the mercy of God as he made a way for us to be reconciled to him through Jesus' death and resurrection.

Matthew 6:25-34  |  Pastor Greg wraps up chapter 6 and talks about what Jesus has to say about anxiety and whole-person righteousness. 

Truth Statement: Jesus teaches us to not be anxious about the things we need but to prioritize God’s kingdom and righteousness and trust him to provide.
