Harvest Church

The Holy Spirit comes to live in me at salvation as my helper, guide, teacher, comforter, etc., but He rests upon me to empower me for mission. We can not fulfill the great commission in Mark without the overshadowing of a supernatural God who empowers us to walk in the supernatural list that is said to follow those who believe. Join us as we explore the baptism that the Apostle John said Jesus would give us.

The great commission in Matthew emphasizes discipleship, but there's something that come before that. And this is the focus of the other great commission found in Mark. Join us this week as we explore the Holy Spirit and your empowerment in this new series.

In this series we have been talking about the church, it's function, and why God has called us to assemble together. Evangelism is one of those reasons, and no one is exempt. Listen this week as Ps. Misty introduces the "being your true self" evangelistic approach.

Many will tell you that the tithe is unbiblical, but are those critics correct? What does the New Testament say about funding the local church and paying ministers? What does it say about addressing the needs of the poor? Join us this week as we compare the Old and New Testaments to discover God's heart on this important subject.

Do as I say, not as I do....or at least that's what most of us have heard at some point during our formative years. Perhaps it was said as a joke, but the reality is that far too many still employ this mentality. The Apostle Paul, however, admonishes us, "follow me as I follow Christ." If we want to raise up children, spiritual and natural, we have to walk in righteousness, for they will ultimately walk according to what you have modeled.

God has expectations for the church and for what is meant to be accomplished through our assembling together. One of the marks of a true New Testament church is discipleship. We are called to GO and make disciples. Join us as we define exactly what is required if we are to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

The church isn't just a gathering of people connecting relationally. It's more than just 2 or more gathered together. God intends for some very specific things to come out of this special gathering, and one of the things we find is that God Himself has ordained that we come under godly leadership. Join us this week as Ps. Shawn Benson talks about the 5 ministry graces listed in Ephesians 4, and what they are meant to accomplish in the body of Christ.

Some suggest that a "church" is simply a gathering of 2 or more believers, but is that true?  I say NO!  The church is meant to be more than just connection and fellowship.  Join us this week as we explore Heb.10:24 to uncover some of the intention behind God's command for us to assemble and what we are supposed to accomplish by doing so.

Do you know the real Jesus? Join us as Ps. Shawn Benson tells us the truth about Jesus' relationship with Judas.

In the 2024 Super Bowl, they aired a commercial about Jesus, stirring much controversy among Christians. Was this the woke Jesus or the real Jesus? Listen as Pastor Shawn Benson dives into the parable of the Good Samaritan in this deeply convicting message aiming to discover the real Jesus.
