At the outset of Luke 15, the Pharisees and Scribes had complained about who Jesus received: sinners and tax collectors. He spells it out for them as to why He receives those deemed unworthy by the religious leaders by sharing the parable of the Lost Sheep, Lost Coin, and Lost Son. He introduced a concept foreign to the Pharisees: grace. In this message, Pastor Jonathan spells out the meaning of grace.

How much are you worth? The best way to determine what you are worth is to know how much one would be willing to pay for you. God paid for you! Jesus exchanged His life for yours. You are of great value and worth! Jesus illustrated that with the parable of the Lost Sheep, Lost Coin, and Lost Son. The point is not just that they are lost but that they are worth finding!

The water cooler is a staple in many offices. Much more happens around it than simply drawing water from it. John provides an account of Jesus waiting at a well - an ancient water cooler - to engage in conversation with a Samaritan woman. This conversation not only impacted her but her whole city. We can learn from Jesus' conversation with her on how to engage people.

In John 4, Jesus asked his disciples, "Don’t you have a saying, 'It’s still four months until the harvest?'" Then He told them, "Open your eyes and look. You don’t have to wait four months for the harvest is here!" When it comes to the harvest, we can either reap or let it rot. One thing is for sure: It's Harvest Time!
