Probably the first or one of the first -Living Letters- written, Galatians addresses a problem which the church has dealt with from the very beginning-understanding and applying grace rather than having a legalistic approach to life.

At Harvest, we have just concluded 40 days of prayer. Today's sermon is a -bonus- as we look at how Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6-9-13.

Human beings have ALWAYS had a problem with interpersonal relationships, and our current culture has made unity even more challenging. But God gives us the key to unity in Philippians 2-1-11, the passage for today's sermon as we continue our 2022 40 Days of Preyer, -In My Name.-

Although Mark 11-15-17 is about God's plan for the temple it is a poignant depiction of what Jesus values, and it's principles help us as a church know what we should be about.

Often we pray for people regarding things such as health, jobs and decisions. Nothing wrong with that, but this week's message which is part of the 2022 40 Days of Prayer will encourage and teach us how to pray for Christians for something else-something we KNOW to be God's will for them.

Each week during our 2022 40 Days of Prayer, we focus on one specific area for us to learn how to pray -in Jesus' name.- The Apostle Paul's request for prayer in Roamns 15-30-33 teaches us an important way to do that--praying for missionaries.

Many of us close our prayers with the words, -In Jesus' name.- Nothing wrong with that-unless it has become a ritual that is no longer meaningful. We kick off our 2022 40 Days of Prayer with a message from John 14-13-14 designed to teach us what it means to pray IN JESUS' NAME.

One of the most well-loved Christmas prophecies occurred hundreds of years before Jesus was born. In Isaiah 9, HOW God decided to send the Messiah to this earth teaches us a lot about God himself that can help us today.
