Prayer through your despairs (1:1-18)

Dare big things for God (1:19-28)

Worship God all the more (2:1-11)

Big Idea: With salvation closer than ever, love others rightly and walk blamelessly.

BI: Jesus has designed our church to be together and function together.

Offer yourselves as a member of our church body (v. 3-5)

Use your spiritual gifts to strengthen our church body (v. 6-8)

BI: Because of God’s mercy in Jesus, offer your body and mind to God

Present your body’s as a living sacrifice (v. 1)

Be transformed by the renewal of your mind (v. 2)

BI: Because of God’s mercy, we can be bold by day and sleep well at night

Being bold because of the gospel of God (v. 13-16)

Humbling ourselves because of the kindness of God (v. 17-24)

Eager for the saving mercies of God (v. 25-32)

Worshiping and resting because of the wisdom of God (v. 33-36)

Big Idea: Since Christ has called us His own, let’s know Him and make Him known.
