This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Believers are destined to rule and reign with Christ, not just in the afterlife, but also in their earthly lives. This is rooted in the fact that believers are made in the image of Christ, who is himself the King and Lord, and are called to reflect His kingdom values in all aspects of our lives.
