Preached by Apostle Aje Pelser
Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town
Scripture: Isaiah 4
These glories of Church help to raise the standard in your Church life.
1. The Branch of the Lord’s Church is beautiful and glorious.
He is the Vine and we are the branches! Abide in Him and bear much fruit!
Glory: H3519, kâbôd, BDB Definition:
“glory, honour, glorious, abundance, riches, honour, splendour, glory, dignity, reputation
reverence,”
Beauty: H6643, tsebı̂y, (Say: tseb-ee’), BDB Definition:
“beauty, glory, honour, decoration, roebuck, gazelle; perhaps like the rare beauty of an extinct animal”
2. The Fruit of the Church is excellent and appealing.
Jesus said: “You shall know them by their fruit.” Matt. 7:16; John 15
Psa 147:1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant (Delightful, sweet: H5273); and praise is comely (Strong’s H5000: beautiful).
3. The remnant of Church Zion will be called a holy, peaceful church.
Jerusalem is a city of peace. But we seek the heavenly Jerusalem, no the earthly one. In fact, the heavenly Jerusalem is the Church of the Firstborn registered in heaven. It’s amazing how few Christians actually realize that we are a part of that heavenly Jerusalem by faith, they are waiting for the earthly Jerusalem to be restored – keep waiting, we’re already there by faith in Jesus name – Hebrews 12:22-24 is our ticket!
4. The records of Church will preserve life and knowledge.
We are to rejoice because our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, in heaven: Luk. 10:19,20; Rev. 20:12;
The Book of Remembrance
Mal 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name.
Mal 3:17 “They shall be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.”
Mal 3:18 Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.
The Epistles written by apostles in the New Testament are an administrative record of the early church, with doctrinal and practical advice for the establishment of the kingdom of God in hearts and minds. Jesus Christ built His church on the rock of revelation of Who He is and of who we are in Him collectively.
5. The Water and blood of Church will wash and purge the Church, together with the spirit of judgment and burning – the Holy Spirit. Eph. 5:26; Matt. 3: 11; John 16:8
6. The Covering of Church will be above your dwelling place and assemblies.
Apostle Paul said he was obedient opt His heavenly vision. Part of his calling was summarized in Acts 20:20: “How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.”
7. The cloud of glory and witness will give you shade in Church.
I have often made use of the glorious cloud of resources available to us in this move of God in the earth today. Every time we preach, we can draw from our teachers that have prepared us, from the revelations in the Bible; from our experiences in applying the revealed truth, from other people’s testimonies and writings and from the anointing within us. There is a cloud of resources at your fingertips and you should know how to navigate that cloud to download what you need for now.
God told something and it made everything very clear: “Because you help others find mercy in My throne of Grace, I will give you mercy in your time of need.”
This is a truism that affects everything we do I the kingdom. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Jesus’ principles are access codes into the cloud of glory. We use a cloud networking system for our resources and we can start a Miracle Bible Training Centre with the touch of a button, and at the speed of light through a fibre optic cable, someone across the worl
